Do You Have What it Takes to Make Money Affiliate Marketing?

While it may seem to be such a simple question there is much more than meets the eyes that goes into answering this question. As nice as it would be to think that anyone can make money in this profession the truth of the matter is that not everyone is cut out to do it or to enjoy it.

Now some will tell you that it doesn't really matter if you enjoy it or not as long as you are making money. I tend to disagree. If you really love what you are doing then you will be able to put in the long hours that are required in order to get your business off the ground. If it becomes a monotonous and tedious chore then chances are that you are going to begin to resent the business, the time away from friends and family, and the money that is needed in many cases to make your business grow. You may be able to begin fairly inexpensively but at some point in time you are going to have to make some serious investments in your Affiliate marketing business in order to make it grow.

So, to answer the big question of the year: Yes Virginia, you can make money affiliate marketing. Lots of money as a matter of fact. But that money comes at a cost of time, money, or a combination of the two. There is no magic formula that works for everyone and not everyone is going to enjoy making money affiliate marketing. This doesn't mean that the failure or success of another person will be mirrored in your efforts.

The biggest key to making money affiliate marketing is persistence. If you don't make money your fist time out the gate, try something different. Be sure to record your efforts and take note of what seems to garner some degree of success, even the smallest degree and work to capitalize on that success.

One thing you must remember is that you do not need to go out and figure out how to make $100,000 a year as an affiliate marketer the first time around. What you need to figure out how to do is how to make your first dollar. Once you've figured out how to do that you need to learn how to do it time and time again until you are making $1 100 times a day. It is the person who has the patience to do this that will make money affiliate marketing time and time again.
